The Lower Silesian Judo Association in Wrocław informs that verification and training course for referees and candidates as well as coaches and players VERIFICATION for 2025 will be held on 19.01.2025r (Sunday) in the Multi-Purpose Hall of Combat Sports of WKS "Śląsk" in Wrocław at 62 Racławicka Street.
Course starts on 19.01.2025 at 10:00 a.m.
in the programme:
1. Organisational matters, verification.
2. presentation and discussion of the NEW regulations , and analysis of the action from the IJG/EJU seminar for referees, coaches and players.
3 Practice on the mat - practical exercises of analysed actions on video.
4 Discussion and conclusion
The person responsible for organising the course is Jacek Kaminski (jacuskam@wp.pl). The course is led by Sławomir Kownacki, Waldemar Sobczyk and Izabela Lubczyńska-Kamińska.
Important information on age and other criteria for judging
Requirements for obtaining referee ranks:
1. candidate judge:
(a) be at least 16 years of age; persons who are at least 16 years of age shall be certified to operate
boards, time, cameras to care system and streaming and filling in of fight lists; after
at the age of 18, verified persons shall acquire the right to judge bouts
during the competition;
(b) have a minimum grade of 2 kyu;
(c) completion of the course and passing of an examination before an examination board appointed by the
the representative of the Judo OC responsible for refereeing matters in the district.
Cost of participation in the course: £50 for referees, coaches and players.
Payment: On the spot on the day of the course with Mrs Paulina Wozniak
DUE to print out and fill in, the application form for making a referee's licence, and print a confirmation of payment of PLN 60 for the referee's licence to the address:

The licence application documents and attachments will only be accepted on the day of the course, so please prepare them completely. Verification for the 2025 course is compulsory, and any absences (for referees verified in 2024) should be arranged individually with Paulina Wozniak - responsible for referee matters in the district.
